The Sierra Leone Roads Authority (SLRA) has announced that it will commence the installation of cross drains at the Kossor Town/Mokor Town Junction along the Regent–Jui Road on Saturday, 30 May 2026, resulting in a temporary partial closure of the affected section.

According to a press release issued by the Authority on Monday, 25 May 2026, the intervention will affect the section of road between Kossor Town and Mokor Town Junction.

The SLRA stated that only one lane will be restricted during the works, while access for motorists will be maintained on the remaining lane to ensure continued traffic flow.

The works are scheduled to run from 30 May to 6 June 2026, with the road expected to be reopened to normal traffic on Sunday, 7 June 2026.

Motorists have been advised to use alternative routes as directed by traffic management personnel deployed at the site during the construction period.

The Authority apologized for any inconvenience caused and urged road users to comply with all safety instructions throughout the duration of the works.
