According to the Leader of the Opposition in Parliament, Hon. Abdul Kargbo, all opposition Members of Parliament will suspend participation in parliamentary proceedings until the APC National Secretary General is released from detention.

Hon. Kargbo further stated that the Secretary General is not the only party official in custody. He confirmed that Mohamed Moriba, the APC’s Bo District Public Relations Officer, is also being held at the Criminal Investigation Department (CID) headquarters.

He made this disclosure during a live interview with Liberty Online TV while leading a peaceful march alongside opposition APC Members of Parliament to the CID Headquarters in solidarity with their National Secretary General, Lansana Dumbuya Esq., who is currently in police detention. The MPs also hold a brief meeting with CID officials, demanding the immediate release of the party’s Secretary General.
