The Guma Valley Water Company (GVWC) has announced a temporary shutdown of water supply to Freetown on Wednesday, September 3rd 2025.
According to GVWC, the shutdown will last between 10:00 A.M to 6:00 PM to carry out maintenance work on a 28-inch transmission pipeline at Milton Margai, Marjay And Spur Road reservoir in Freetown.
In the shutdown notice, Guma further apologized to the general public for the inconvenience the shutdown may caused.
