In response to concerns from residents at the Black Johnson Community over a mysterious abandoned vessel, the security sector of Sierra Leone provides an update in regard to a search conducted on the vessel.
The mysterious vessel which is described as resembling a customised mini submarine was found at the Yenkan Beach along the Black Johnson Coastal Community.
According to the security forces, a thorough search was conducted on the vessel at the Murray Town Navy Base in Freetown on January 19, 2025, between the hours of 9:00 and 11:00, and nothing of “security interest” was discovered.
The security sector assures the public of its commitment to upholding law and order at all times.
