The ruling Sierra Leone People’s Party (SLPP) has sent a condolence message to the opposition All Peoples Congress (APC) following the death of APC National Chairman, Hon. Alhaji Minkailu Mansaray.
In a letter dated 15 June 2026, SLPP National Secretary General, Paran Umar Tarawally, described Mansaray as a devoted public servant who worked with distinction as Minister of Mines and Minister of Labour.
“As different as we may be ideologically, we are today united in sorrow as a nation,” Tarawally wrote.
The SLPP extended condolences to the APC’s acting National Chairman, its members and supporters, as well as Mansaray’s wife, children, and family.
The party prayed that Allah grants him Aljannah Firdaus and gives his family and the APC the strength to bear the loss.
“May his gentle soul rest in perfect peace,” the message concluded.
