A joint delegation of International Moral Guarantors will visit Sierra Leone next week for a follow-up mission on the implementation of the Agreement of National Unity and the Tripartite Committee recommendations.
The delegation, led by former Vice President of Gambia, Her Excellency Fatoumata Jallow-Tambajang, and the Special Representative of the UN Secretary-General for UNOWAS, will be in the country from 13th to 17th April 2026.
According to a letter from the Independent Commission for Peace and National Cohesion (ICPNC), the delegation has requested a meeting with leaders of the main opposition All Peoples Congress (APC) Party.
The meeting is scheduled to take place at the APC Party office on Tuesday, 14th April 2026, from 11:00 am to 12:30 pm.
The discussions will focus on developing a roadmap for monitoring the implementation of the Unity Agreement and the Tripartite Report.
The ICPNC confirmed that the delegation will also hold consultations with other key actors and stakeholders during the visit.
