The Sierra Leone Police have declared Patricia Mansaray wanted after officers raided her Sugar Land residence in Goderich and discovered a pistol with seven live rounds, a large quantity of suspected Kush, Marshmallow, and other narcotic substances. Her National ID card and Sierra Leonean passport ER202151, which shows frequent travel to China, Nigeria, and Liberia, were recovered during the operation.
The announcement was made at the SLP’s weekly press conference at Kingtom, where AIG Dr. Martin John Senesie reaffirmed the force’s commitment to tackling drug trafficking and violent crime. He highlighted ongoing security measures, including new CCTV and security lights at the Aberdeen–Lumley beach corridor and intensified patrols nationwide in partnership with the NDLEA.
Providing further updates, TOCU head CSP Rev. Michael Laggah reported three major operations:
- Kabala, 21 Nov: Arrest of three suspects with two cartons and 21 grosses of suspected Tramadol.
- Goderich, 24 Nov: Raid on Mansaray’s home leading to the discovery of narcotics and a firearm; she escaped and is now on the run.
- Freetown, 26 Nov: Arrest of three suspects with a barrel drum of Marshmallow used in producing Kush.
ONS representative Samuel Gandi commended the security agencies and warned against the dangerous removal of hydrant covers. He also noted ongoing efforts to validate Sierra Leone’s land borders and maritime boundary with Guinea.
Police are urging the public to report any information that may lead to Patricia Mansaray’s arrest.
