Posted on Saturday, November 8, 2025, on his Instagram page, businessman and Senator Ned Nwoko accused his estranged wife Regina Daniels’ brother, Sammy, of repeatedly harassing his children and domestic staff at his home. Nwoko shared videos showing Sammy’s aggressive visits, which often occurred when the Senator was absent.
The Senator detailed his previous support for Sammy, including funding his university education, buying musical instruments, and renting a furnished apartment for him in Abuja. Nwoko also revealed transferring N125 million to Regina’s mother, Rita Daniel, over the past two years.
Nwoko explained that Regina began rehabilitation after doctors observed behavioral changes linked to illegal substance use. He alleged that Sammy, Destiny, and others consistently violated medical instructions by bringing drugs to Regina, thereby frustrating her recovery efforts. The Senator claimed these individuals were also drug users themselves.
In response, Regina Daniels denied her family’s involvement, accusing Nwoko of using drug allegations to distract from their real issues. She claimed Nwoko encouraged her drug use, locked her in rooms, and forced medical treatments on her. Regina stated they were never legally married and has since moved out of Nwoko’s house to purchase her own home.
Following the viral incident, Regina’s brother Sammy was arrested, with the family now working to secure his release with support from Regina’s estranged father and godmother Mercy Johnson.
