Senator Ned Nwoko Speaks Out on Regina Daniels’ Condition, Citing Drug Abuse and Family Concerns
In the midst of swirling rumors about his marriage, Senator Ned Nwoko has publicly addressed the ongoing crisis involving his wife, popular Nollywood actress Regina Daniels, revealing troubling details about her alleged struggle with substance abuse and erratic behavior.
Taking to his verified Instagram account, the politician and businessman shared a lengthy statement describing what he called “a painful but necessary truth.”
“Regina was not always like this. Her current battle with drugs and alcohol abuse is the root of our problem,” Nwoko wrote. “She must continue her rehabilitation program, or I fear for her life and safety. Now she has moved to a place where she will have unrestricted access to drugs.”
According to Senator Nwoko, he has made multiple attempts to encourage Regina to seek medical and psychological help, offering to enroll her in a rehabilitation program either in Asokoro or Jordan, where he says she would have “no access to drugs.”
He further alleged that the actress had displayed violent behavior toward domestic staff and damaged property in recent days.
“Regina is the violent one here, slapping and hitting three staff in the past 48 hours and destroying property, including cars and windows, for no just cause,” he claimed.
The senator also denied allegations of physical abuse, insisting that none of his other wives had ever accused him of violence. He described the recent events at their residence as “chaotic,” alleging that Regina’s supposed drug suppliers were involved in fueling the situation.
“A clear-headed Regina would have taken Moon [their son] to the hospital, but instead she even threatened to harm our resident nurse for exposing her drug abuse,” Nwoko added.
The emotional statement concluded with what appeared to be a plea for understanding:
“I still hope she gets help and recovers fully. My concern is for her safety and that of our children.”
Neither Regina Daniels nor her representatives have officially responded to the senator’s claims at the time of this report.
