The death of Sierra Leonean singer and hip-hop artist Betty Lamboi, better known as Jelly Bee, has been confirmed by her management team.

Widely known for her unique blend of hip hop and Afrofusion, Jelly Bee had viral moments with her hit songs “GBOYA” and “HIGH TENSION.”.

The cause of her death has not yet been revealed.

Shortly before her passing, the young artist posted a cryptic message on her Facebook.
“Respect to my Honey Bees🍯🐝💚,” it says.
