Guinness World Records has officially recorded Mary Yei Yongai as the world record holder for the most cosmetic makeover in 24 hours (one artist).

Mary Yongai attempted to shatter the record for the most cosmetic makeovers, which had stood for 19 years and was set in 2005 in Jakarta, Indonesia, by professional makeup artist Martha Tilaar.

Mary is a professional makeup artist who has worked with A-list Nollywood actors like Ken Erics, and she is also a student of mass communications at Fourah Bay College, University of Sierra Leone.

This incredible accomplishment coincided with concerns expressed by many Sierra Leoneans regarding the five-month gap between May and September 2024 since attempt.

Mary took to her social media in the early hours of September 17th, 2024, to announce that she has been officially recorded as the world record holder for the most cometic makeover in 24 hours by a single person.
